Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina has one purpose- to grant wishes to children between the ages from of 2 1/2 and 18 with life-threatening medical conditions. The benefits of wish fulfillment are many and varied. Though it is difficult to measure the effect a wish has on a child, we believe that while doctors provide the medicine, the Make-A-Wish Foundation provides the magic.

March of Dimes - Birth Defect Foundation
The mission of the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels of Durham, Inc. is a non-profit agency committed to enhancing the quality of life for eligible homebound adults in our community. Their mission is to serve the elderly, frail, disabled, convalescing and others who cannot provide proper nutrition for themselves. Dedicated volunteers deliver lunches to our clients each weekday, with the objective to improve the nutritional status and health of these individuals. It is our goal that this combination of nutritious meals and social contact will help our clients to remain independent as long as possible.
